Linda joins the Care Patrol team with nearly 30 years of experience in Healthcare/Senior Living. A graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education, Linda began her career at the American Cancer Society. It was there that Linda met a Volunteer who sparked her interest in Skilled Nursing/Rehab. In 1994, Linda was hired as the Director of Admissions for a national Skilled Nursing Facility company where she developed a strong understanding of sub-acute care services including skilled nursing services and physical, occupational and speech therapy. Over the 12 years with this National company, Linda nurtured and developed strong relationships with hospital Social Workers and Case Managers to ensure that patients had a smooth transition from the acute care hospital setting to post-acute care. She enjoyed working with families to educate them on the transfer process, educating them on services provided at the facility, assisting with the completion of admission paperwork, and connecting them with the appropriate facility staff to ensure exceptional customer service.
In 2006, Linda was hired as the Director of Admissions and Business Development by Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital (a member of Lifebridge Health) to oversee the Admission and Nurse Liaison teams. Working in this Skilled Nursing and Chronic Care hospital setting allowed Linda to expand her knowledge in Senior Care services including Geriatric Psychiatric Care, where she and her team were instrumental in coordinating admissions from hospitals in and around Maryland. Patients admitted to this secure Unit were often discharged to an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community which led Linda to pursue career opportunities in Assisted Living and Memory Care. Moving from Skilled Nursing, Rehab, and psychiatric services to Community Sales Director in Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities, allowed Linda to assist prospects and families by using her years of knowledge and experience to fully and genuinely understand the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of not only the prospect but their family members as well. Linda Is passionate about working with aging adults and their families and takes pride in using her experience to connect her clients to services that best fit their healthcare needs.
