Observing Patient Safety Awareness Week
Every year, Patient Safety Awareness Week is being observed to encourage everyone to learn more about health care safety; this year, the week will be celebrated on March 13-19.
Promoted by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), the goal of the week is to advance important discussions and inspire action to improve the safety of the healthcare system — for patients and the workforce.
Safety and Proper Care, Every Step of the Way
At CarePatrol, we understand that safety and appropriate care are top of mind for families searching for senior care solutions. When our Certified Senior Advisors® and Senior Care Advisors work with older adults and their family members, they ensure to focus on the needs of each individual. Specifically:
- Every senior care solution we recommend is pre-screened by your local CarePatrol Senior Care Advisor.
- We take the time to understand the current needs of individuals looking for care solutions and anticipate future ones before making a recommendation.
- We remain in constant communication with families through regular check-ins to ensure care needs are being met even when health conditions change.
- All CarePatrol Senior Care Advisors understand the aging process and how health, social, and financial issues work together and influence outcomes.
Outside of being a trusted partner in the care transition process, we provide resources to ensure family members, individuals, care providers, and anyone else involved in the process can be informed about the relevant topics surrounding the transition to senior care.
